Katsuhisa Yamada has a unique style. His models tend to be very angular, and sometimes look a little unrefined.
Still, his creations have this certain "cuteness" that has some appeal. They all start from the traditional
bird-base, manipulated in strange and original ways to create all flaps needed.
This book deals with dinosaurs, as well as with a few mythical beings. My favorites in the book are the
imaginary animals. Especially the mermaid and pegasus.
