With desert winds blowing and wildfires raging in nearby Malibu, a hardy band of Pacific Ocean Paperfolders met on a sultry 89 F, smoke-filled afternoon in Santa Monica. In attendance were Joel and daughter, Anna, Michael, Bennett, Phyllis, John, Ron and Dorothy. Welcome to newest member, Yvonne!

Yami Yamauchi created a fabulous montage of fireflies - design from a NOA magazine - glowingly scanned by Ron Fujioka.

One of Laura Kruskal's design/engineering gems, an amazingly sturdy ten-fold Wallet was a big hit. Thanks to Jeremy Shafer and BARF Newsletter for the diagrams!
